English Brief Introduction of Ma Hongbin(A)





Ma Hongbin, was born in Nanning, the provincial capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the People’s Republic of China in July 21, 1963, was a graduate of college and was awarded the Bachelor’s degree of Engineering. He is a figure of the circle of appreciating stone in China and makes a great achievements in many aspects, such as academic theory study and comment of ornamental stone culture, carrying forward, propagandizing and popularizing the ornamental stone culture, planning, organizing and carrying out the activities of appreciating stone culture and promoting the oriental and west cultures exchange and cooperation at home and abroad.

From August 1984 to January 1993, he had graduated and assigned in Science Equipment Company of Guangxi Subordinated of Science & Technology Department of Guangxi. He was a manager of import department and engaged import trad and market sale.

In September 1988, he began the activities for collectin, exchange and research of “ The Culture of Enjoying Rock ” ( SHANG SHI CULTURE).
From 1990, he began the collection of Zax, Stone Shovel and Stone Tools in Stone Age.
In August 1991, was invited and appointed to be art consultant of the Stone and Root Arts Research Society of the Arts and Crafts Society of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,
From February 1993 to October 1994, was engaged in Guanglian ( Nanning  Investment stock Corporation. He had be engaged a project manager of Investing Development & Trade Department, then had be engaged an assistant general manager and concurrently manager of Trade Department of Guanglian Trade Co., Ltd of Nanning.
In March 1993, his achievement of appreciating stone was recorded in China Notable Dictionary of Collection Circle published by Beijing Xinhua Press.

From Novenber 1994 to April 1998, He engaged activities of Ornamental Stone Culture & art and researched, managed, cultural exchanged and collected.
In February 1994, Guangxi Appreciation Stone Association was established, was chosen as managing director of the 1st Board of Directors of Guangxi Appreciation Stone Association and concurrently vice-chairman of the Academic Study Department.
In August 1994, Nanning Ornamental Stone Society was established, was chosen as managing director and deputy secretary-general of the 1st Board of Directors of Nanning Ornamental Stone Society and concurrently vice-chairman of the Academic Committee.
In August 1994, was invited and appointed to be consultant of the 1st Board of Directors of the Geology and Minerals Development Committee of Guangxi Appreciation Stone Association by the Geology and Minerals Development Committee of Guangxi Appreciation Stone Association.
